A golf course in the heart of the bay of Morlaix

Congratulations to the men's team for this great performance!

The first team is on the verge of promotion to the second national golf division.

After four days of competition on the demanding Saint-Samson course in Pleumeur-Bodou (22), the first men's team of Golf de la Baie de Morlaix delivered a solid performance in the 3rd National Division for its first participation at this level.

A third national division with a high level of competition

Facing a high level of competition, the Carantec golf players , led by their captain Frédéric CADO - former goalkeeper of Stade Brestois - demonstrated consistency and a true team spirit throughout the competition.

Despite strong competition, including from several teams from the Paris region, the team demonstrated great cohesion and an improving level of play, confirming its place at this national level of amateur golf.

The Golf de la Baie de Morlaix is now part of the top 100 in France and is one of only three French 9-hole golf courses to operate at such a level.

On the verge of the FFG's second national division

Led by several convincing individual performances and a well-established team dynamic, the Carantec team never gave up, remaining competitive until the last day, narrowly losing to Caen for promotion to the 2nd National Division.

Carantec organization and logistics

Strengthened by the presence of two physiotherapists from Carantec , Sylvain Quéran and José Mingam, the team also relied on Nicolas Carro's Hôtel de Carantec for meal services. This efficient and collaborative organization contributed to the smooth running of this week of championship matches.

The top amateur level of golf

Beyond the sporting result, this participation in the 3rd National Division rewards the work done over several seasons within the club and testifies to the rise of Golf de la Baie de Morlaix on the French amateur golf scene.

An encouraging step, which suggests new ambitions for the Carantec golf club for the coming seasons.
